Salisbury Ground Beef Recipe (30 minutes, one pot)

Salisbury steak is a nostalgic dish for me. The Retro Ground Beef Dinner combines small meatloaf-like ground beef patties with a delicious mushroom and onion gravy. My mom serves her Salisbury steak prepared with a packet of Lipton's soup—with mashed potatoes or rice and maybe some steamed broccoli.

As an adult, I've only made Salisbury steak a few times, mostly for nostalgia's sake. It has won me back over the classic dish.

Instead of making separate patties and grilling each one, just cook the ground beef in a pan and combine it with sauteed mushrooms and a delicious gravy for a 30-minute meal. It has all the flavors of the original without any of the hassle.

Serve this Salisbury ground beef over freshly baked tagliatelle, pappardelle, or egg noodles for a weeknight meal you'll want to make again and again.
