A popular Walmart snack is being recalled due to an undeclared allergen.


If you shop at Walmart, you may need to check your snack drawer, especially from its Great Value line, the store's affordable private brands. Today, John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. (JBSS) announced a voluntary recall Great value honey roasted cashews Coconut cashews were found in a product labeled as honey after a customer reported.

The company reported that it mistakenly labeled coconut cashews as honey-roasted cashews. The recalled products include undeclared coconut and milk.

If you or someone in your household is allergic to coconut or milk, you should not use or serve the recalled product. There are no confirmed reports of adverse reactions; However, people with allergies or sensitivities to coconut and milk, if they use this product, may experience anaphylaxis.
