Dolly Parton just released the hottest cookware collection — I need it ASAP.

Two of Tennessee's national treasures teamed up to announce something today that I can't wait to get my hands on: a The Dolly Parton line of Lodge cast iron skillets. As a superfan of both the country music queen and the iconic cast iron cookware brand, this news is music to my ears.

The one-of-a-kind collection features four Lodge cast iron skillets engraved with designs inspired by Dolly's trademark flair. At the bottom of the skillets you'll find prints of the famous star and his guitar, as you can see in the image below. Functional and collapsible cast iron skillets come in three sizes: 10.25 inches, 12 inches, and 13.25 inches. If you've been waiting to add a cast iron skillet to your kitchen, this is your cue.

I highly recommend Lodge cast iron skillets.

I'm often asked about my favorite cast iron skillet. Many brands are at completely different price points—from a lodge that costs $20 to the fancy schmancy $210 Smithey. As an editor and chef, I've tested a wide range of cast iron skillets and here are a few.

While some premium brands are sleek, light and have beautiful packaging, Lodge Skeletts is my favorite and the only brand I recommend—you can't beat the price and quality.

I have two 10.25 inch skillets and use them almost every day. Do I need another one? I have three kids, and if I intend to pass these kitchen workhorses on to each of them, I absolutely do. They might draw swords over who gets Dolly, but as the country's leading lady said, “The way I see it, if you want a rainbow, you've got to face the rain. ”
